About Elka Guerra-Ayestas

Elka is an accomplished marketing professional with 20 years of experience in advertising, marketing and brand strategies, and events management. Prior to joining MortgageDepot, Elka worked at a global commercial real estate firm, where she oversaw the production of marketing collaterals, integrated email marketing into operations and was responsible for all corporate advertising initiatives, brand development campaigns, and event operations.

Elka offers a number of bespoke skills and a successful track record in creating and executing marketing campaigns and producing events of all sizes and types, including virtual. As the VP of Marketing and Events Operations, she is responsible for building MortgageDepot’s marketing infrastructure, implementing new marketing processes, and developing an integrated communications strategy that positions the company for growth, as well as managing the operational aspects of all corporate events, and developing event strategies that meet business/marketing priorities.

Additionally, Elka works closely with the CEO on internal communication initiatives and creating relevant materials for key company communications. She also partners with Human Resources to support employee engagement efforts.
