About Gabriel Orellana

Gabriel Orellana is a valued member of our lending team at MortgageDepot, and he currently serves as our Post-Closing Coordinator. In this important position, he works closely with our loan originators and loan processors to complete the final legwork required on each file. His duties include ensuring the accuracy of all loan documents, completing a quality review assessment on each file and confirming compliance with all regulations. As part of his responsibilities, Gabriel keeps up with the latest changes in federal and state regulations and disclosures.

Gabriel Orellana is a proud graduate of Uniondale High School, and he has spent the last several years since graduation in progressively more challenging roles. Soon after graduating, Gabriel gained extensive customer service experience while working at Hofstra University. This was followed by positions at Nassau Candy, Coliseum Kitchen, Quest Diagnostics and Intercontinental Capital Group. Each of these positions prepared him in critical ways for his important duties at MortgageDepot today. Collectively, these positions honed his skills in key areas like attention to detail, quality control, leadership and organization. Gabriel is a true team player with a can-do attitude, and his hard work enables our customers’ loans to proceed smoothly through the post-closing process.
