Jacqueline Rodriguez, who is a graduate of New York City Technical College where she earned an associate degree, works behind the scenes at MortgageDepot as a loan processor. She is responsible for handling all of the paperwork and documentation required by lenders and regulatory agencies.
The work of a loan processor is not limited to only one type of mortgage product. Jacqueline handles processing for the following types of financing: Fix-and-flip rehab loans, construction loans, stated-income 1-4 family, nonowner-occupied loans, stated-income mixed-use loans, bridge loans, hard-money loans, commercial loans and stated-income commercial loans.
Once she receives a pre-approval application from one of our mortgage officers, Jacqueline is responsible for getting it and all supporting documentation through the application and underwriting process. She also makes certain that credit reports, income statements, appraisals and other paperwork needed to obtain a loan approval are in order and submitted to underwriting.
Her fluency in Spanish, as well as her experience in the customer service, human resources and managing comes in handy when assisting borrowers to satisfy underwriting conditions to close a loan.
